The programme is a partnership between Cardiff Convention Bureau and local academic, business and professional institutions . The aim is to work with interested hosts who can directly or indirectly influence national or international conference destination decisions. Since the launch of the Cardiff Ambassador Programme in 2003 the city has seen £2 million worth of conference business generated and this figure is set to rise over the next five years.
